The following is our format for visiting missionaries at Faith
Baptist Church.
Missionaries must be local church. All authority for
sending, disciplining and instructing must be from a local New
Testament Baptist Church. A missionary may use a clearing house to
get them on the field or a similar organization that has no
authority over the missionary. No multi-church mission boards or
fellowship missionaries will be supported.
All missionaries must be accompanied by both their wives
and those children that currently live with them.
All missionaries will arrive during the day on Friday no
later than 5:00 p.m. Missionaries and their families will be housed
by a Faith Baptist Church member or in our church’s prophet chamber.
It is our desire to have the missionary and his family well-rested,
well-fed and well- prepared for the duration of the time spent with
us.
Saturday at 9:30 am
the missionary and his family will join with Faith Baptist Church
soul-winners or church bus teams. We hold a 30 minute morning
service to encourage and charge those who come out to obey the great
commission. The missionary will preach a brief message (10-15
minutes) to our soul-winners and bus visitation teams.
Saturday at 5:00 pm the
missionary and his family will have supper with a Faith Baptist
Church family or staff member.
Sunday at 9:15 am the
missionary will arrive at Faith Baptist Church, set up their display
in the lobby, place prayer cards out, pray with Pastor and greet
people as they arrive for Sunday School.
Between 10:00 - 10:45 am
the missionary will teach an assigned Sunday School Class
At 11:00 am in main service, the
missionary will testimony in about 3-5 min. He should present his
calling, field of service, introduce his family and invite people
back tonight to hear his presentation and hear him preach.
