First of all,
let me thank-you for investigating! In this day and age of
doctrinally weak churches and believe almost anything Christians, it
is a blessing to know that some still hold God’s Word above
preachers, personalities and programs. In the spirit of our Berean
(Acts 17:10-12) brothers and
sisters in Christ . . . test us ( I Jn.
4:1); prove us (Ep 5:12);
examine us (II Co. 13:5) as the
Scriptures both exhort and command us to do. We pray that we will
become a blessing to you as you “search the scriptures . . . ”
If you are
looking for the perfect plan of salvation, look to God and His Word;
it alone is perfect - not our presentation!
We realize
that man’s frailty often exposes itself on the written page.
Therefore, we ask you to pardon our methodology in the pursuit of
absolute truth. That absolute truth being the following:
“... Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of
God.” John 3:3
In our
presentation of the Gospel three truths stand out.
1. Sin 2. Repentance
3. Grace
The Father’s
plan of salvation is in response to man’s
sinful and lost state. The theological debate may rage
long and hard about when God actually instituted His plan of
salvation, yet, His pure reasoning remains crystal clear. From Adam
on, man is hopelessly mired in the state of rebellious sin. Left in
this state, mankind is both repulsive (sin) and rejected (lost) by a
Holy, righteous and sinless God. Bottom line is, all men are sinners
(inherited at birth) Romans 3:23, and all men will die in their sin,
Romans 5:12, unless they turn to Christ, John 10:10.
