7. THE FALL OF MAN

Man was created in perfect innocence and in God's own image. Man, having been given the power of choice, deliberately and voluntarily chose to leave his innocent state and commit sin. Man thereby  incurred not only physical death, but also spiritual death which is a conscious and eternal separation from a Holy God. As a result of this sin all mankind are now born with a sinful nature.

All mankind evidence their sinful nature by sinful acts, which leave man totally depraved and unacceptable in God's sight. If man does not choose to turn from his own wickedness, repent of his sin and become born-again though the shed blood of Calvary, he shall die in a state of eternal damnation with out excuse.

8.  GRACE IN SALVATION

The blessings of salvation are offered freely to all mankind through the gospel. In order to be saved, sinners must trust in the risen Christ, repent of their sins and acknowledge Christ to be the only way to life eternal. The new birth results in a new creation in Christ Jesus; this is instantaneous and is not a process. In the new birth, the one formally dead in his own trespasses and sins is made a partaker of divine nature and receives God's promise of life eternal. 

It is then the honor and duty of every Christian to glorify God by living a holy, obedient and victorious Christian life. God has called the Christian to separate themselves from corrupt religions, philosophies, entertainments, practices, and life styles of this present evil world, looking instead to a world to come.
